This Policy is effective September 1, 2024. Eligibility for Gulf to Bay Volleyball and Sandbagger Volleyball events are as follows:

A. Compliance with Anti-doping Rules on Performance Enhancing Drugs Performance Enhancing Drugs (“PEDs”) are not permitted to be used by players in volleyball events. Gulf to Bay and Sandbagger Volleyball follows the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Policy. All Tour participants must comply with the World Anti-Doping Agency’s guidelines. This includes adhering to the WADA prohibited substances and methods list, which is updated regularly. For reference, the 2018 WADA prohibited substances list can be found here (https://www.wada-ama.org/en/prohibited-list). Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with this list, as it is essential for maintaining the integrity and fairness of the competition.

B. Female Participation Each participant in a tournament event must be a biological female. The tournament director, in its sole discretion, may, at any time and for any reason, require a participant or prospective participant to complete an SRY screen or chromosome screen. If the screen raises further questions, the tournament director, in its sole discretion, may require additional testing. *All Policies are subject to change and it is the players responsibility to know and understand these policies.

C. With your entry fee and registration you are agreeing that you are not misrepresenting your eligibility or adherence to the spirit of our policies for fairness and safety. Anyone found in non-compliance will be deemed ineligible.

D. Final Eligibility Determination Gulf to Bay and Sandbagger Volleyball has the authority to make all final decisions regarding a player’s eligibility and status. We may change or alter any of these terms at any time or take executive action to enforce the spirit of the rules to en sure a fair playing field for all competitors.
